Fodiso B.V. (Laat 3, 8309 DC Tollebeek, the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) 92862950) is responsible for your data in DysClever. Questions? Email info@fodiso.com.
What we store
- Your first name. You don't have a password with us.
- Do you log in with Google or Microsoft? Then they give us your name, your email address and a fixed code for that account. That's how we recognize you when you log in again. We don't send you ads.
- Do you log in with Face ID or your fingerprint (passkey)? We only store the public part. Your fingerprint or face always stays on your own device.
- Your material. The text of your study material, your overviews, notes, exam dates and quiz results.
- Your settings, such as font, text size and what you are studying for (for example high school).
- Your subscription: whether you have a trial or a subscription, until when, and your customer number at Mollie.
We don't ask if you have dyslexia.
Under 16
- Then you need permission from your parent or guardian. They give it when your account is created.
- We store your parent's first name and when they gave permission. Nothing more.
- Your parent can always email us to see your data or have it deleted.
When you share questions
- Do you share your practice questions with a link? Then we store those questions with a code. Everyone with the link sees the questions and your first name. Nothing else from your material.
- Do you come in through a link yourself? Then your device remembers the code for 30 days. If you create an account, we store who shared the link. That way we can give you both the free month.
- Do you delete your account? Then your share links stop working too.
Photos and recordings
We send a photo of a page or a recording of a lecture to the AI to turn it into text. After that, we only store the text, not the photo or the recording.
Do you make a podcast? Then we store the audio file in the EU, so you can listen to it again. It is deleted when you delete your account.
Why
We only use your data to make the app work: storing your material, showing it on your laptop and phone, and managing your subscription. This is needed for the agreement we have with you (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). We don't send you ads and we don't sell anything.
Who helps us
- Cloudflare hosts the app and the database. Your material is stored in a database in the EU.
- Google (Gemini) is the AI that makes overviews, notes, questions and podcasts. Google does not use your material to train its AI. Google may process this outside the EU. The EU's standard agreements (standard contractual clauses) apply to this.
- Mollie handles the payments. Mollie gets your payment details, we don't.
- Google and Microsoft, only if you log in with them. They then see that you log in to DysClever.
Cookies
We use one cookie: to keep you logged in. No cookies to track you and no ads. Your reading settings and material are also stored on your own device, so the app works without internet.
How long
- Your data is kept until you delete your account.
- Do you delete your account in the app? Then everything is gone right away.
- By law, we must keep payments in our accounting records for 7 years.
Security
Everything travels over the internet encrypted. You log in with Google, Microsoft or a passkey. We have no password that can leak.
Your rights
You can see your data, have it corrected, have it deleted or take it with you. Email us and we will take care of it within one month. Do you disagree with us? Then you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
